ABOUT THE ROLE
As an enthusiastic, experienced and talented Search Engine Marketing Specialist, you’ll plan and execute SEO and PPC activities that drive our website performance and measurably contribute to qualified lead targets for perfectpatients.com and smilemarketing.com.
To keep pace with the ever-changing digital landscape, you’ll be provided with ongoing training and development opportunities.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will plan and execute innovative SEO and PPC strategies for the company’s sales websites.
Your specific role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage relationships with third party agencies as needed for implementation of agreed upon SEM campaigns
- Analyze data and insights to spot trends, red flags, and areas of improvement (Google Analytics, heatmaps, PPC campaign data, etc.)
- Perform detailed keyword and competitor research and monitor keyword rankings
- Suggest ways to improve overall SEM strategy and make necessary changes as required
- Create and optimize landing pages and other website content as needed
- Maintain the company websites (publish new content, fix broken links, interlink for SEO purposes, update title tags, etc.)
- Implement tracking technology and other methods to accurately track ROI of various initiatives
- Prepare and share monthly reports on stats, initiatives, and ROI
- Stay up to date with new SEO, PPC, and digital marketing trends
HOW TO SECURE AN INTERVIEW
To be invited for an interview, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- 4+ years work experience as a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist, Pay Per Click Specialist, or Digital Marketing Specialist
- Demonstrated familiarity with necessary software (Salesforce, Hubspot, WordPress)
- Thorough knowledge of analytical and tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, and similar
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Project management and copywriting experience
- Outstanding analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required
- Extraordinary attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
Experience in the health profession and working with doctors is desirable but not essential.
Although there is some flexibility on the work schedule, you would need to work the majority of your day during normal U.S. business hours 9am-5pm EDT/EST.
